VA presenting Black History Month program

SALISBURY – The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center Diversity Team will present a program to honor and celebrate achievements in Black History. The event takes place Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. in the Building 6 Social Room.
The theme of the event is “Civil Rights in America and Abroad.” Program highlights include a vignette highlighting important people and events in black history, as well as music and an interpretive dance. Food and drinks will be available.
