Centenary United Methodist Church will be the site for the Will Run for Food 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Feb. 22.
The 5K (3.1 miles) will start at 10 a.m.
A half mile fun run follows at 10:50 a.m.
Both events will benefit Servants With a Heart, an organization that has fed 3 million meals worldwide. Each meal is prepared in bulk, and will cost about 15 cents per meal. Each entry fee can account for as many as 133 meals.
Awards will be given in 14 age groups for both male and female in the 5K. Special awards will go to the top three finishers and the top masters finishers. Each participant will get a commemorative dri-fit T-shirt. All participants in the fun run will get a medal and T-shirt.
