Garbage pickup coming this weekend for some

SALISBURY — The city of Salisbury reported Friday night that most roads inside the city limits have been plowed.
Residents who live on a road has not been plowed should send an email with their address to plow@salisburync.gov., according to Street Division Manager Craig Powers.
Garbage services has resumed this weekend. Residents whose garbage was not picked up on their normal pickup day are asked to leave their rollout bins at the curb until emptied. City crews will complete garbage pickup by Sunday evening.
Salisbury public transit service will run as follows today:
• Route 2 (Red Route) will run its regular Saturday schedule with stops at Old Concord/East Monroe Street, Walmart, Rowan County Health Department, U.S. Post Office, Horah Street/Institute Street, Old Wilkesboro Road, Lash Drive, Civic Park Apartments and South Caldwell Street.
• Route 3 (Blue Route) will run its regular Saturday schedule with modifications in East Spencer due to road conditions. Stops include Lafayette Apartments, Weant Street Apartments, North Long Street, Kiddie Land, Rowan Regional Medical Center and the VA Medical Center.
