Virtual town hall meeting Tuesday night

Tuesday, Feb. 11, will be the launch of a new vehicle for residents of Rowan County to participate in a discussion and information forum. Rowan Concerned Citizens is hosting an online meeting on the topic of “Beyond Poverty in Rowan County” which will be available for viewing and participation through youtube. The panel will include representatives from UNC Chapel Hill Poverty Center, Rowan Helping Ministries, Rowan County Department of Social Services and the Salisbury-Rowan Citizens Action coalition. Moderator Anthony Smith will take questions and comments from the watching audience and present them to the panelists.
