Some North Carolina passenger trains have been impacted by the snowstorm, and train passengers may encounter modest weather-related delays for train travel today. Passengers can also check the status of their train with our train status locator, available on the main page of ncbytrain.org.
The following is an update on train schedules:
• Piedmont trains 73 and 74 will not today. No substitute transportation will be provided. Amtrak notified booked passengers Tuesday night.
• Carolinian trains 79 and 80 and Piedmont trains 75 and 76 will operate on their normal schedules with minimum delays expected.
• Amtrak long-distance trains will also operate on their normal schedules through NC, however, some delays are expected.
• All NC train stations will be open during normal hours.
