Cooperative Extension will host a Slow Cooker Workshop titled, “Now Serving: Slow Cooker Meals!” This workshop is designed for anyone desiring to learn more about the slow cooker and how to prepare tasty, nutritious and wholesome meals using a slow cooker.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 6-8 p.m. at the Agricultural Center located at 2727 Old Concord Road. Participants will learn the benefits of using a slow cooker, slow cooker safety, and how to prep and arrange food in the slow cooker to ensure that uniform cooking occurs.
