Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education Chairman Dr. Richard Miller called a meeting for Monday, Dec. 30 to discuss the school board’s budget mediation with the county.
The board is meeting “because we want to have a report from our attorney about mediation,” Miller said.
All aspects of the budget mediation are on the table to be discussed at Monday’s meeting, Miller said. That includes a central office and consolidating two western Rowan County elementary schools into one location.
“It’s about all our capital needs,” he said.
Clerk to the Board Patty Overcash said that a notice about the meeting was sent out last week.
The board meets at 4 p.m. at the school system administrative offices, 314 N. Ellis Street, Salisbury.
