Rev. Billy Graham has been an inspiration to millions

I have just finished a new book that is out, “Billy Graham: A Life in Pictures,” by former Charlotte Observer religion writer Ken Garfield. He knows Billy Graham personally. The book includes 138 pictures of the Grahams, tells about Billy Graham’s life and is worth reading.
A quote: “My one purpose in life is to help people find a personal relationship with God which I believe comes through knowing Christ.”
Read this book for many special blessings.
My husband and I know personally two men who long ago accepted Jesus, after hearing Reverend Graham. One, from the Statesville area, heard him on the TV in a motel room while Graham was conducting a crusade in California. He became a lay pastor in our area. The other man, who lived near Mt. Mitchell, heard Graham in Asheville. He later became a deacon in Mt. Mitchell Baptist Church. He and his wife began to sing in churches and at fundraisers for folks who needed money because of illness, burned homes or other misfortunes. This man is in heaven now.
More than 12 years ago, we took my dad Robert (Bob) Murdock on a church trip to see the Atlanta Braves, his favorite team. The next evening, we went to the coliseum to hear Reverend Graham. My dad would later ask Jesus into his heart right before he passed away at age 86.
Billy Graham’s story is such a blessing. Garfield is now director of communications at Myers Park United Methodist Church in Charlotte. Pray for Pastor Billy Graham.

Many thanks to Richard’s BBQ, College BBQ, Brian from IFH, and the cooking crew consisting of Gene Cornatzer, David Henderson, Jim Ross and Bo Webb. As the result of their hard work and much appreciated support, we were able to donate to Faithful Friends and Rowan Helping Ministries this Christmas season. Happy New Year to all!
