Beaudoin remembered for theater costumes

Many now know Jim Beaudoin passed away recently.
But many in the Salisbury community do not know he was a volunteer costumer for Piedmont Players Theatre.
Nearly every costume that has appeared on the Meroney Theater stage since “Nunsense” was designed and handmade by Beaudoin.
Some of the amazing costumes he created for the Meroney stage were shown at Piedmont Players’ annual meeting in August, when he was honored with the Clyde Award for his years of dedicated volunteer service.
Beaudoin gave hours of dedication to the Salisbury community without ever needing the recognition he so richly deserved. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A service of memoriam for Beaudoin will be at 1 p.m. today at the Meroney.
