Celebrating November’s Scout Core Value (Citizenship), Cub Scout Pack 306, sponsored by North Hills Christian School (NHCS), participated in the Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11.
It was a privilege to honor veterans and teach the youth about the sacrifices made by service men and women.
On Nov. 14, Pack 306 toured the Salisbury Post with copy editor Paris Goodnight conducting the tour.
The scouts were excited to see the end-to-end newspaper operation in conjunction with their study of how the world communicates with citizens each day.
