Maintenance on the Internet server hosting applications for the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will make DMV online services intermittently unavailable between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
DMV online services include obtaining a DMV personal ID number; duplicate registration card; personalized and specialized plates; duplicate driver licenses and ID cards; driving records and liability insurance. They also provide applications for trans express system renewal, paying vehicle property tax and registration renewal, and accessing the vehicle property tax estimator.
During the maintenance shutdown, systems hosting www.ncdot.gov and applications on the statewide N.C. Department of Transportation system, such as the Traveler Information Management System, will also be unavailable.
The maintenance is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
