HIGH POINT (AP) — A 14-year-old High Point girl has been arrested and charged with stabbing her 16-year-old brother to death.
Police were called to an apartment complex shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday to investigate an assault with a weapon report.
Officers found the victim, who was taken to High Point Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers arrested the victim’s 14-year-old sister and charged her with first-degree murder. Her name was not released because of her age.
Police say the teens had argued before the stabbing.
No decision has been made on whether the girl will be charged as an adult. The charges have been filed in the juvenile court system.
