The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Ave., announces that veterans can receive a free flu vaccination in Primary Care at the Salisbury VAMC or any of its Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
Veterans who receive care from the Charlotte, Hickory or Winston-Salem Community Based Outpatient Clinics can go to those clinics for flu vaccinations. Vaccinations are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Vaccines are also available Saturdays from 8 until 11:30 a.m. at the Salisbury Primary Care clinics, Winston-Salem Kimmel Park and the Charlotte CBOC. Veterans may also receive flu vaccinations during any scheduled clinic visit.
Veterans can get their vaccination on a walk-in basis, and do not need appointments to get the vaccine. Vaccinations are available to any veteran who is currently enrolled and receiving care at the Salisbury VA Medical Center or any of its CBOCs.
