The Family Crisis Council of Rowan County will host a candlelight vigil Monday to raise awareness about domestic violence.
The hour-long vigil is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. in front of the Rowan County courthouse, 210 N. Main St. In case of rain, the vigil would be rescheduled to Oct. 21.
The vigil is sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
