Officials with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office have charged a fourth man they say was involved in an August break-in at a rental home.
Aaron Levi Smith, 19, of the 100 block of Sassafras Lane, Woodleaf, was charged Monday with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.
Three others — Mason Disbrow, 18, Joseph Lleras, 20, and William Torres, 25 — were charged with breaking and entering. Disbrow and Torres both live in the same neighborhood as the home that was broken into, reports said.
Authorities said the Starhaven Drive home used as rental property was broken into sometime in August.
According to an arrest report, Smith took copper wiring, metal appliances and metal sheeting from the property. Also taken during the break-ins were a refrigerator, stove and water heater, a report said.
Smith was released from the Rowan County jail under a $500 bond. Disbrow and Lleras remain in the jail.
