Soules 50th Anniversary

Leslie L. Soules and Gloria Jean Davis Soules of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a gathering held Sept. 21 at Trinity Wesley Church hosted by their children and grandchildren. A beautiful cake was made for the occasion by granddaughter Shandalin Dearth. The couple was married Oct. 1, 1963, at the Wesleyan Holiness Church by the Rev. D.R. Saunders. Leslie is employed at Rowan Transit (RITA) as the safety manager, and Gloria is a homemaker. Their children are Michael Soules (Heidi) of Warsaw, Ohio; Maresa (Ronald Jr.) Davis of Salisbury; and Melody (Robert) Roberts of Salisbury. They have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Souleses celebration will also include a trip to the Blue Ridge and on into Virginia.
