Cameron W. Spencer from Salisbury was promoted from 2nd Lieutenant to 1st Lieutenant on Sept. 27, 2013, in a ceremony in Fort Bragg.
He is a member of 3-321 Field Artillery Regiment, 18th Fires Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, currently assigned to 583rd Forward Support Company as the Maintenance Control Officer.
A 2005 graduate of East Rowan High and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Spencer is the son of Glenda and Barry Dyson and Brian and Nora Spencer.
