• J.C. Price Post 107 hosting holiday dance Sunday, 9 p.m.-2 a.m.. Music by Deejay “Juke.” Donation $5. Must have proper ID. Dress code enforced. Security present. Raffles, door prizes, Deejay request board.
• 83rd Annual Sides Reunion, Sunday, Sept. 15, 1 p.m., at Rocky Ridge Methodist Church Fellowship Building, 1429 Old Charlotte Road, Concord, beside Jackson Training School. Families bring a picnic lunch. Lots of fun, music, good food and fellowship.
