Moore ~ Sloop

KANNAPOLIS – Rebekah Grace Moore of China Grove and Ronald David Sloop of Mooresville were united in marriage Aug. 17, 2013, at Crown Pointe Baptist Church. The Rev. Marty Payton and the Rev. Gene Beaver officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception in the church Fellowship Hall.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by her sister, Erin Deaton of China Grove, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Wilson and Kaylyn Christy of Kannapolis and Madison Brown of China Grove.
David Sloop stood as his son’s best man, and groomsmen included brother of the groom Chad Ludwick of Woodleaf, Clayton Johnson of Kannapolis and Spencer Basinger of China Grove. Ushers were brother-in-law of the groom Jeremy Cook and George Stewart of China Grove.
Allison Cook served as flower girl, and Cole Ludwick was ring bearer. They are niece and nephew of the groom.
Sister of the groom Wendy Cook was soloist; Nathan Rogers was guitarist; and Tara Ludwick, sister-in-law of the groom, was guest registrar.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Shari Moore of China Grove and the granddaughter of Theodore and Hazel Moore of China Grove and Carolyn Ostwalt of Statesville. A 2010 graduate of South Rowan High School, Rebekah also studied at Davidson County Community College. She is employed by Lake Norman Dog Grooming.
The groom is the son of David and Cindy Sloop of Mooresville and the grandson of Paul Hines of Mooresville and Margaret Sloop of Concord. A 2009 graduate of South Rowan High School, Ronald is employed by Piedmont Cheerwine.
Following a wedding trip to the North Carolina mountains, the couple are making their home in China Grove.
