Faith Fire Department hosting Party in the Park to raise money

FAITH — The Faith Fire Department will host Party in the Park, an oyster roast and fish fry also featuring a concert, on Sept. 14 to raise money for fire department parking lot and building improvements.
The event will start at 5 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. at Faith American Legion Park.
From 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., an all-you-can eat seafood buffet will be available including oysters, oyster stew, flounder, shrimp, hushpuppies, fries and slaw. Cost for the buffet is $30 per person with oysters or $20 per person without oysters. Children ages 6-10 eat for $8 and there’s no charge for children ages 5 and younger.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m., Lake Side Drive Band will play beach and top 40 music.
Before the party starts, there will be a corn hole tournament. Registration starts at 3 p.m., with play at 4 p.m. The cost is $40 per team. The tournament is single elimination, and there will be cash prizes for the top two teams.
Tickets are available now at the Faith Soda Shop, at Faith Town Hall, and from any member of the Faith Fire Department.
