The N.C. Department of Transportation will close Organ Church Road between N.C. 152 and Old Beatty Road in Rowan County to replace a pipe under the road. Weather permitting, the work will begin Monday, Aug. 12, and is expected to be completed on Thursday, Aug. 15.
To detour around the work zone, motorists may take N.C 152 to Holshouser Road to Lower Stone Church Road to Old Beatty Ford Road back to Organ Church Road.
