3 recipes you might have missed

Here are a few recipes you might have missed from the Post’s “Someone’s in the Kitchen with Sarah” series. Happy cooking.
Cube steak

Salt

Pepper

McCormick Grillmates Montreal Steak seasoning
Olive oil

Put a thin layer of oil in the bottom of a pan.
Add salt, pepper, and Montreal steak seasoning
Arrange cube steak in pan.

Cook on medium to medium low heat until meat is cooked thoroughly, turning the meat as needed.
2 or 3 carrots, shredded

3 or 4 celery stalks, finely chopped
1 small onion, chopped

1 1/2 cups sausage of your choice
Cumin to taste

Black pepper to taste
2 cups of uncooked Jasmine rice
Olive oil

Cook rice according to directions on package.
Chop celery and onion. Shred carrot using grater.
Coat pan with olive oil. Add sausage to the pan. Cook until brown.
Add celery, onion and carrot to the pan.
Cook for several minutes before adding rice.
Use spatula to use mixture before sprinkling on cumin and black pepper. Continue to toss for a few more minutes.
Crust

2 cups flour

1 cup butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar
Mix items together and press into bottom of 9 by 13 pan. Bake at 35O degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
Filling

4 beaten eggs

2 cups sugar
1/4 cup flour

1/3 cup lemon juice, bottled or fresh squeezed
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Beat all items together, pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees for another 25 minutes or until golden brown. Do not overbake. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
