Kannapolis postpones public hearing
KANNAPOLIS — The city has postponed a public hearing on zoning for a 124-acre tract annexed July 31.
The public hearing on the land, which is adjacent to the Farm at Riverpointe subdivision near the Mecklenburg County line, had been set for Wednesday at a meeting of the city’s Planning and Zoning Board.
A developer has asked the city for zoning to allow a subdivision of single-family homes, but has asked for more time to revise his proposed site plan.
The city will reschedule the public hearing and provide notice of its date and time.
