McCrory expected today at Faith Fourth parade
Gov. Pat McCrory is scheduled to take part in the Faith Fourth parade today.
The parade steps off at 10 a.m., and organizers said this week that rain or shine, it will go on.
The week of festivities is scheduled to wrap up with fireworks at 10:30 tonight — unless there are lightning-producing storms — and there’s a lot more to see and do in between.
Amusement rides will be open beginning at noon. At 7 p.m., finalists in the Faith Idol competition take the stage.
Also starting at 7, there will be races, games, a watermelon-eating contest, an egg toss and more.
Later in the evening, a DJ will provide music before the big fireworks finale.
