Showtime series ‘Homeland’ to film in Raleigh

RALEIGH (AP) — The Emmy Award-winning Showtime television series “Homeland” is filming at the state Supreme Court building and historic State Capitol building in Raleigh.
“Homeland” stars Claire Danes as a CIA agent and Damien Lewis as a suspected terrorist. Filming typically takes place in the Charlotte area.
The show will film scenes for its third season Monday inside the Supreme Court building and around the Capitol and grounds Tuesday. Traffic in the area may be held or diverted during sound takes.
