Families First to host Fare in the Garden fundraiser

Families First-NC will have its second annual Fare in the Garden: Sowing Seeds of Kindness fundraising event from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Carolina Lily, 1375 Kern Carlton Road, Salisbury. There will be food, fun, silent auction items and door prizes.
Families First, formerly the Adolescent and Family Enrichment Council, provides pregnancy prevention, parenting and life skills education.
The guest speaker at the event will be Anthony Johnson, director of the Mini-Funk Factory Marching Band. Proceeds for the event support the agency’s mission to strengthen families.
Families First is a Rowan United Way member agency.
Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance at Families First, 723 W. Innes St., Salisbury or call 704-630-0481.
