This week’s Athlete of the Week is Southern Rowan Legion outfielder Dylan Carpenter.

Carpenter, all all-county selection after hitting .425 for Carson, took up right where he left off in Southern Rowan’s first two games. In a 12-3 win over Mooresville, he had four hits. In a 6-3 victory over Concord, he knocked in another run.
