Cleveland Lions breakfast Saturday

The Cleveland Lions Club is hosting breakfast this Saturday, March 9, 7-10 a.m., in the Cleveland Lions Den on Cemetery Street. Signs will point the way in to the Lions Den from Highway 70, beginning at the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Station. Breakfast will include scrambled eggs, country ham, bacon, sausage, grits, homemade biscuits, gravy, juice, coffee and tea. Donations received support programs for the visually and hearing impaired.
Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable donations for Rowan Helping Ministries West. The following are preferred items based on current needs: bar soap, paper towels, crackers, canned sweet potatoes, canned beans and meat, sugar and sweeteners, peanut butter, jelly and cooking oil.
The Lions will also accept old glasses and hearing aids for use in developing countries.
