BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Cody Zeller scored 19 points and Victor Oladipo had 15, leading No. 3 Indiana to an 81-73 victory over No. 1 Michigan on Saturday night.
It’s the third time in school history the Hoosiers (20-2, 8-1 Big Ten) have beaten the No. 1 team at home, and it’s the first time they’ve done it in back-to-back seasons. The win gives Indiana sole possession of the Big Ten lead and likely the No. 1 ranking it held for the first seven weeks this season when the new poll comes out Monday.
In addition to Michigan’s defeat, No. 2 Kansas lost 85-80 to Oklahoma State.
The Wolverines (20-2, 7-2) were led by star Trey Burke with 25 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. with 18, but they couldn’t extend their four-game winning streak.
Indiana took an early 20-7 lead and Michigan tied it only one time after that, at 40. The Hoosiers put it away with a late 7-2 run.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Erik Murphy scored 19 points and was instrumental on the defensive end in leading Florida to a victory over Mississippi.
Pat Young added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Gators (18-2, 8-0), who won their 10th consecutive game. Marshall Henderson, the SEC’s leading scorer, led the Rebels (17-4, 6-2) with 25 points.

PITTSBURGH — Tray Woodall had 13 points, four assists and three steals as Pittsburgh (18-5, 6-4 Big East) continued its mastery of top 10 teams at home by pulling away from Syracuse.
The Panthers improved to 13-1 against teams ranked in the top 10 since the Petersen Events Center opened a decade ago.
C.J. Fair led Syracuse (18-3, 6-2) with 20 points.

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Markel Brown scored 28 points, Marcus Smart added 25 and Oklahoma State held on to upset No. 2 Kansas 85-80 on Saturday, ending the Jayhawks’ nation-leading 18-game winning streak.
The Jayhawks (19-2, 7-1) took advantage of a couple missed free throws, trimming Oklahoma State’s lead to 81-80 on a layup by Elijah Johnson with 18.8 seconds left.
But unflappable freshman Phil Forte, an 89 percent foul shooter, made both of his tries with 7.9 seconds to go, and Johnson turned the ball over before Kansas could try a tying 3-pointer.

INDIANAPOLIS — Rotnei Clarke scored 23 points and Roosevelt Jones added 18 to lead Butler (18-4, 5-2 Atlantic 10) past Rhode Island.

BERKELEY, Calif. — Justin Cobbs made an 18-foot jumper with 1:35 remaining and then added a pair of free throws as California hung on to hand Oregon (18-4, 7-2) its second straight loss to an unranked team this week.
Allen Crabbe and Richard Solomon scored 13 points apiece, and Tyrone Wallace added 12 while helping the Golden Bears (13-8, 5-4 Pac-12) win back-to-back games for the first time since December.

LINCOLN, Neb. — Lenzelle Smith Jr. had 21 points and Ohio State (17-4, 7-2 Big Ten) held off a late Nebraska surge.
