The fire marshal was called in to investigate after suspicious activity was reported with a fire that started late Thursday night at 7247 Sherrills Ford Road.
A suspicious vehicle was reported leaving the area before the fire was reported around 11:45 p.m.
Crews reported the blaze under control at 12:30 this morning and were using a track hoe to clear the area.
