Protect your pets in case of fire
I wish people would pay attention and use their heads to protect their pets from house fires. Don’t learn the hard way, like I did when I lost a pet dog in a fire.
All it takes is a piece of cardboard and a marker. Here’s all you have to do to help protect your pets when you’re not at home and they’re left alone.
Write down how many pets are in the house, their names and where they stay in the house most of the time.
Write down your name, cell phone number, work number or other number where you can be reached.
Write down the name and number of another contact, someone you trust, who could help the firefighters with your pets.
Then, when you leave the house, hang the cardboard on the door or beside it.
Thank you for protecting your pets’ lives. They will appreciate it very much.
