Information on horse care offered Jan. 7

Get prepared for 2013 with current information on vaccinating and deworming your horse. Pfizer representative Brandon Tucker will be the guest speaker at a Rowan Advisory Council for Equestrian 4-H Clubs (RACE 4-H) dinner and winter clinic. Pfizer is a manufacturer of equine health products, and Tucker will provide updates on how to keep horses healthy. The clinic will be held Monday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rowan County Extension Office, 2727 Old Concord Road. Dinner will be provided. Please email sara_drake@ncsu.edu or call 704-216-8970 by Thursday, Jan. 3 if you plan to attend. This event is open to the public, but you must call to register.
