Kneeling Gardeners conduct winter business
Jill Roach opened the November meeting with a welcome to three new members, Arlene Clark, Jewel Kee and Jan Query.
Six members shared Christmas decorating ideas: Gail Puntch, edible ornaments for birds; Sylvia Foster, table top Christmas tree; Chris Wielandt, votive candle centerpiece; Nancy Rutledge, candy bowl centerpiece; Arlene Clark, outside wall décor; Betsy Smith, edible Christmas treats.
Business for November included plans for caroling and a gathering at the home of Ronnie and Janet Smith. Thanks to David Cherry for organizing pictures for note cards. Shirley and Earl Gray, Ann and Larry Doyle, Carolyn and Royce Thomason provided the food and drink.
Kneeling Gardeners will meet again on Monday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. with Steve Christy from Christy’s Nursery.
