Ruffin scored four touchdowns, including the game-winner with four seconds left to help the Hornets beat Thomasville and claim at least a share of the Central Carolina Conference.

Ruffin scored on a 90-yard kickoff return in the first quarter and then added three more scores in the fourth. He scored on a 14-yard run, a 98-yard pass from Brian Bauk and finally a 29-yarder on a hook-and-ladder play. He took a lateral from receiver Jon Mark Petty on the play and tiptoed down the sidelines into the end zone.

Ruffin, the leading scorer in the county, went over 2,000 yards rushing for his career. He’s also one of the leading receivers in Salisbury history. This is the second time he has been chosen as Athlete of the Week this year.
