The Rowan-Salisbury School System has been selected as a $10,000 winner in the Monsanto Fund’s America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education.
The program gives farmers the opportunity to nominate their public school district to apply for a merit-based grant to enhance math and science education.
America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education is part of a four-part initiative, which highlights the important contributions farmers make every day to our society.
After a three-tier grant review process, Rowan-Salisbury was selected as one of three winners in North Carolina.
