Millie Ellen Graham of Salisbury and Robert “Robbie” William Taylor Jr. of Gilbert, Ari., were united in marriage Aug. 11, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Salisbury. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Lance officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception in the Messinger Room at Rowan Museum.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by her sister, Jamie Graham of New Braunfels, Tex., as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Patricia Antcliff of Atlanta, Ga., CPT Mary Caraza of Augusta, Ga., CPT Markie Gibson of Lacey, Wash., CPT Elise La Croix of Landstuhl, Germany, sister-in-law of the bride Emily Graham of Salisbury, Mamie Simmons of Macon, Ga., CPT Maren Smith of San Antonio, Tex., Taylor Starrett of Salisbury and Melissa Strobel of Clarksville, Tenn.
Staff Sgt. Ryan Robart of Charleston, S.C., was best man. Groomsmen were brother of the bride Wesley Graham of Salisbury, brother of the groom Frank Taylor of Glendale, Ari., John Taylor of Pittsburg, Pa., Richard Taylor of Peoria, Ari., and father of the groom Robert Taylor. Wyatt Wesley Graham of Salisbury, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Guest registrars were Susan Behrooz of Salisbury and Kate Daniel of Jefferson, Maine.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Wilson Lee Graham of Salisbury. A 2003 graduate of St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Va., Millie earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in 2007, where she received the Nursing School Peer Award. After serving five years as an Army nurse in Landstuhl, Germany, and at Fort Gordon, Ga., she is employed with Banner Children’s Hospital in Mesa, Ari.
The groom is the son of Robert and Winifred Taylor of Glendale, Ari., and the grandson of Virginia Taylor of Sun City, Ari. A 2006 graduate of Sandra Day O’Connor High School, he is studying Biological Sciences at Arizona State University. He is also a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
Following a wedding trip to Belize, the couple are making their home in Gilbert, Ari.
