South Rowan quarterback Nathan Lambert is this week’s Athlete of the Week.
Lambert battled an injury to help South Rowan defeat North Iredell 40-34 in a double-overtime thriller Friday night. It was the Raiders’ second victory of the year and moved them into third place in the North Piedmont Conference standings.
Lambert rushed for 77 yards and passed for 150. He now has 3,014 career yards, surpassing the school record of Blake Houston.
