A Salisbury man died Tuesday after he was struck by a vehicle along U.S. 29, just two miles north of China Grove.
Dirk Leonard James, 54, of Swink Avenue, was hit as he was walking across U.S. 29 at 6:35 a.m. The North Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the incident. No other details are available yet.
