Rev. Jerry L. Snipes and Melissa G. Snipes of Rockwell celebrated their 30th anniversary with a reception hosted by their daughters. The Snipes’ were married Sept. 18, 1982, at Maranatha Bible Church in Salisbury.
Their daughters are Clara Snipes of Indian Trail and Sarah Snipes of the home.
Jerry and Melissa have been partners in Christian ministry since 1984 in Rowan and Cabarrus counties. They are the founding church planters of Resurrection Life Church of Salisbury, founded in December 2001, where Jerry is pastor.
The Snipes’ have also been active in homeschool education, Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child.
