SALISBURY – Authorities arrested a Wind Drive man accused of grabbing two women at a home on Hannah Ferry Road Wednesday.
According to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report, Ronnie Leo Truman III, 22, went to a neighbor’s house to offer her a ride about 7 p.m.
While he was at the Hannah Ferry Road mobile home, a second neighbor told police she went to the house to wash her clothes.
The two women said Truman made lewd comments to the women and grabbed the women “on their breasts, buttocks and groin regions,” an arrest report said.
One of the women sent a text message to her boyfriend, the report said. When the man arrived, authorities said, Truman left.
Deputies arrived shortly after and went to Truman’s home.
Upon searching him, authorities said they found 10 hydrocodone tablets.
He was charged with two counts of sexual battery and misdemeanor possession of narcotics.
Truman remained in jail Friday under a $5,000 bond.
