West Rowan’s Tyler Stamp is this week’s Athlete of the Week for his performance in a 29-10 victory over Salisbury.

Stamp rushed for 60 yards. He threw for 44 more on four completions. He was responsible for three of the Falcons’ touchdowns. He threw an 18-yard scoring pass to Caleb Cranfield to open the scoring. On the last play of the first half, Stamp scrambled and raced in from 17 yards out, giving West Rowan a 14-10 halftime lead. He finished the scoring on a 19-yard run.

Stamp was a receiver last season and is playing quarterback for the first time. He has led West Rowan to the county’s only undefeated season so far at 3-0.
