CHINA GROVE – A China Grove man is accused of stealing $1,000 worth of metal rebar from Corriher Heights Baptist Church.
Matthew Allen Harrington, 43, of Providence Street, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony larceny. He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $500 bond.
The arrest warrant, which was issued June 21, says the metal theft occurred on June 13. Harrington turned himself in Sunday morning.
