The following offices will be closed for the Labor Day holiday:
• Rowan County offices will be closed Monday. The county’s landfill and convenience, recycing and processing centers also will be closed.
• Landis town hall will be closed Monday. Garbage and recycling will not be affected.
• China Grove town hall will be closed Monday. Garbage and recycling will not be affected.
• The Faith Town Hall will be closed Monday. Town services will not be affected.
• The Cleveland Town Hall will be closed Monday. Town services will not be affected.
• East Spencer town hall will be closed Monday.
• Granite Quarry town hall will be closed Monday. Town services will not be affected.
• Spencer town hall will be closed on Monday. Garbage pickup will run one day behind, with Monday’s route on Tuesday and so on. The recycling center will be open Sept. 8 and Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.
• The city of Salisbury will operate on the following schedule for Monday:
• City office buildings, including the Salisbury Customer Service Center and all four recreation centers, will be closed.
• Garbage and recycling collection will operate on schedule.
• No limb collection on Monday. Collection will take place by Sept. 7.
• No city transit service Transit on Monday.
• Fibrant technical support will maintain regular hours. Customers may call704-216-7567 and select option 2 for Internet or option 3 for video or phone.
• Salisbury Rowan Utilities’ administrative offices will be closed Monday. For a water/sewer emergency after hours or during the holiday, call 704-638-5339.
• Salisbury Community Park will operate on schedule from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
