Seaman Jonathan L. Herscher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Riddle of Salisbury, has received a Distinguished Military Graduate award at the U.S. Navy Electronics Technician A School at the Center for Surface Combat Systems in Great Lakes , Ill. This recognizes his leadership abilities, outstanding military bearing and academic excellence for the U.S. Navy. Herscher was the top academic performer within his class. He will continue his military assignments with the U.S. Navy Advanced Electronics program.
