Hall House kitchen, Watson House among saved properties

Here are the ‘after’ photographs of two properties which have been saved and, in the case of the Hall House kitchen, above, restored, by Historic Salisbury Foundation over the years. The kitchen is behind the foundation-owned Hall House on South Jackson Street.
The property in the photograph at right is the Thomas Watson House at 628 S. Fulton St.
Last week on this same page, the Post showed ‘before’ photos of both properties as part of a monthly contest the foundation is running to celebrate its 40th anniversary year. Participants are asked to give the names and locations of the ‘before’ properties.
Richard Bowen had the correct answers this month. The person with the most correct answers during the monthly contests will receive a prize from the foundation at year’s end.
