Shue ~ McQueen

RALEIGH — Christina Shue and Clark McQueen were united in marriage March 10, 2012, at All Saints Chapel. Helen Poston, friend of the couple, officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception dinner followed by a night of dancing.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an elegant long, lace strapless dress. She was attended by Holly Shue and Ashley McQueen as matrons of honor and bridesmaids Judy Panella, Laura Johnston, Sarah Cole and Shannon Hickman.
Drew McQueen served as best man, and groomsmen were Justin Frye, David Panella, Mike Panella, Steve King and Will Rorie. Franklin Redd was the ring bearer.
Serving as ushers were Matt Nance and Mike Riddick; personal attendant was Max Arbelo; and readers were Leigh Redd and Caroline Rorie.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and LuAnn Shue of Salisbury. She received a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education in 2006 from Appalachian State University, where the couple met. While studying for her master’s in School Administration at North Carolina State University, Christina is a teacher in Fuquay-Varina.
The groom is the son of Craig and Julie McQueen of Holly Springs. Clark transferred from ASU to study English at NCSU and is employed as a chef.
Following a week-long honeymoon in Dominican Republic, the couple are making their home in Fuquay-Varina.
