During this second annual day camp, campers were mustered into the Union and Confederate Troops and studied the history of the war, especially local history.
They re-lived the life of a soldier through 19th century life skills, cooking and medicine, as well as marches, drills, military maneuvers and much more.
Sites used were the 1854 Museum/old courthouse, Confederate Prison Guard House, 1766 Old Stone House, Hall House, and the National Cemetery.
Campers wore kepis, carried muskets and pistols, along with haversacks full of their provisions.
