A national anti-abortion group has endorsed Richard Hudson in North Carolina’s 8th Congressional District, Hudson’s campaign announced in a Wednesday press release.
“This endorsement reflects your commitment to strengthening a culture of life throughout the nation and in the U.S. Congress,” wrote David O’Steen, executive director of the National Right to Life Committee, in a letter to Hudson. “We look forward to working with you to protect the most vulnerable members of the human family.”
The National Right to Life Committee is a non-partisan advocacy organization. Operating through 50 state chapters, the committee supports legislation and education that works against abortion.
Hudson, a Republican, faces incumbent Democratic Rep. Larry Kissell in the general election.
