SALISBURY — A car wash and a home in the Brooklyn-South Square neighborhood have won the Landscape of the Month awards for August.
The commercial winner is Sam’s Car Wash on West Innes Street. The residential winner is 229 S. Long St., home of Tony and Joann Hoty.
The awards are sponsored by the city’s Community Appearance Commission. Sue McHugh is chairwoman of the Landscape of the Month Committee.
