Johnson, Tilley leaving Rowan Extension

Brad Johnson, Rowan County Cooperative Extension Agent with responsibilities for adult and youth livestock and dairy programming, has accepted a position as an agriculture instructor and livestock judging team coach for Frank Phillips College, Borger, Texas.
Johnson began with Rowan CES in November 2002. His last day is Aug. 3.
Frank Phillips College is a community college with approximately 1,200 students, located 50 miles northeast of Amarillo, Texas.
Scott Tilley, the Rowan County Field Crop Agent, will be leaving Cooperative Extension on Aug. 6. Tilley will be completing his master’s thesis research at North Carolina State University in crop science. He will continue his career in the private sector serving growers in the eastern region of North Carolina. Tilley began his career in March 2011 as an area field crops agent for both Rowan and Davie counties.
